FARNBOROUGH INTERNATIONAL AIRSHOW, FARNBOROUGH, UK, 14 July 2008 --[ASDWire]-- Avionics display provider Barco is further expanding its customer support capabilities in North America. The company’s service center in Duluth, GA, has recently been FAR145 certified by the FAA for local service and repair of Control Display Units as well as Flight Display Units for general aviation.

The FAR145 certification enables Barco to perform maintenance operations on its ‘CDMS’ Control Display Units as well as ‘FDU-2000’ Flight Display Units for general aviation. These units are being used on various airborne platforms, such as the Boeing 737-700, Lockheed C-130J Hercules, Lockheed C-5 Galaxy, Pilatus PC-12 and Grob spn.
