Argon Electronics LLP has delivered further CBRN simulator training systems for Dutch armed forces

Luton, U.K., 24 July 2008 --[ASDWire]-- Argon Electronics LLP has supplied 20 GID-M-SIM training systems for use by the Netherlands armed forces as the second part of the ACADS (Automatic Chemical Agent Detection System) program.

The GID-M-SIM will permit comprehensive training in the correct use of 150 GID-M chemical agent point detectors supplied by Smiths Detection. This order follows the delivery by Argon of 175 CP100 SIM simulator training systems as part of the Netherlands Ministry of Defence contract with Environics OY for the ChemPro100 hand held chemical detector in fulfilment of the first part of the ACADS program.

The selection of simulation training instruments from Argon for both of these detectors reflects the company’s ability to provide integrated systems with a common technology base, and recognises Argon’s strength of partnership with many of the world’s leading CBRN detector manufacturers, as well as civil and military CBRN response organisations around the globe.

Argon Electronics LLP is a world leader in the design and manufacture of instrumented simulation training systems for the international civil and military CBRN detection market. For more information visit: www.argonelectronics.com
