Luciad introduces LuciadEarth Enterprise at DGI 2010

Massive amounts of data – Managed, Fused, Served

Leuven, Belgium, January 21st 2010 --[ASDWire]-- Luciad, the specialist in high performance visualization of situational awareness in Defense & Security, will be presenting its latest product LuciadEarth Enterprise™ at the DGI 2010 Conference, January 25-27 in London. LuciadEarth Enterprise offers high performance fusion and visualization of unlimited static and dynamic datasets in C4ISR environments. Visitors will experience the benefits that this product brings to the defense and security community on booth #21.

LuciadEarth Enterprise is a server software solution based on the same solid foundation as Luciad’s flagship software suite LuciadMap™, designed to build highly accurate situational awareness applications. LuciadEarth Enterprise focuses on achieving smart on-the-fly fusion of large spatial datasets in networked C4ISR environments.

LuciadEarth Enterprise has been specifically designed to achieve the high performance required to make mission-critical applications operate in a network-centric environment. The product acts as a single point through which any application can have access to any data source. It is the necessary component in any scenario where multiple applications need to access multiple data sources.

“The DGI 2010 conference offers a unique platform to launch our latest product. LuciadEarth Enterprise is designed for managing, fusing and serving massive amounts of static and dynamic data in C4ISR networks”, said Lode Missiaen, Luciad CEO. “In addition to displaying our products targeting the Defense & Security industry, we welcome the opportunity to strengthen the relationships with clients and prospects at this event.”

The Defence Geospatial Intelligence (DGI) Conference is Europe’s largest annual gathering dedicated to high-level discussion addressing the major challenges of the defense and government geospatial intelligence community. Bringing together Heads of Geospatial Intelligence, GIS, Remote Sensing, Operations, and Imagery and Analysis, the conference provides an exclusive forum to discuss and debate the development of geospatial intelligence capabilities across the globe.
