LSI Adopts Inmedius(r) S1000d Publishing Suite(tm)
Technical Publications Production Software to Support P-3 Aircraft Foreign Military Sales Program
PITTSBURGH, PA – February 20, 2007 --[ASDWire]-- Inmedius is pleased to announce a multi-year contract with Logistic Services International (LSI) for its S1000D Publishing Suite™ and training. LSI, a military training and technical data services provider, will utilize the software to provide professional technical publication and illustration services for its U.S. Government, foreign military and aerospace industry customers. Initially, LSI will utilize the software to produce both electronic and paper-based technical documentation to meet the over two thousand pages in ASD S1000D requirements and guidelines for a contract signed with Lockheed Martin in support of a P-3 Aircraft Foreign Military Sales Program (FMS). Lockheed Martin and LSI have collaborated for ten years to provide the U.S. Government and foreign military customers with technical publications in support of the P-3C aircraft’s mission avionics.
The comprehensive, Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) Inmedius Publishing Suite includes; S1000Dmanager™, S1000DauthorPro™, S1000Dreview™, and S1000Dtransition™. Fully-integrated, and easy to implement, maintain and use, the software set addresses every facet of an S1000D project to capture, create, manage and deploy technical information assets, supporting the entire documentation lifecycle.
