DS TECHWRITE ADOPTS INMEDIUS(r) S1000D PUBLISHING SUITE(tm)

Technical Documentation Software to Initially Support Australian Defense Force (ADF) Projects
Novare to Provide Consulting, Installation and Training Support Services

BRISBANE, AUSTRALIA, February 21, 2007 --[ASDWire]-- Inmedius, Inc. announces the first Australian adoption of its internationally popular S1000D Publishing Suite by DS Techwrite, a premier technical writing organization located in Queensland. The multi-user contract also includes maintenance, onsite training and consulting services provided by Novare, a professional engineering and logistics firm and Inmedius partner company. The adoption by DS Techwrite represents the first S1000D Publishing Suite implementation by Novare, who became licensed to sell and provide support services for Inmedius offerings in the Pacific region last October.

“DS Techwrite chose the Inmedius solution after meeting with Inmedius at the DEFDOC 2006 Conference held in Melbourne, Australia,” explained Dennis Wood, DS Techwrite CEO. “Those discussions convinced me that the Inmedius offering would satisfy our requirements for an S1000D authoring system, whilst at the same time greatly enhancing the capability of DS Techwrite to provide technical authoring services to Defense, Mining, Manufacturing, Public Utilities and Civil industries. Additionally, we see the implementation of the Inmedius Suite as an opportunity to integrate with our customers, at a higher level than we have in the past. The prospect also exists to expand DS Techwrite’s client base through the enhanced capability, and to improve our Project and Quality Management processes within the organisation.”

DS Techwrite is also investigating integrating the Inmedius output with Mincom LinkOne as a delivery and display tool for the end product. Mincom LinkOne software creates graphical catalogs that help users find the right part, first time, every time. A world leader in graphical content creation, distribution and access, Mincom LinkOne has the unmatched power to link graphics with parts list and rich text to easily produce Electronic Parts Catalogs (EPC) and graphical Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals (IETM).

“We see the opportunity to provide portability of the finished documents with Mincom LinkOne EPCs,” added Wood. “The combined documents, IETMs and EPCs with Mincom LinkOne as the delivery tool, will allow complete integration with many of the major ERP/EAM systems in use globally, removing the need for users to search for and identify the correct document for systems undergoing maintenance, or to find current operating instructions.”

"Novare is extremely pleased to be implementing the Inmedius S1000D Publishing Suite for DS Techwrite and we look forward to providing additional support and guidance as their capabilities with the product grows,” stated Greg Wilcock, Managing Director of Novare. “By delivering on-site training using the installed system, Novare will be able to customize its curriculum to match DS Techwrite's immediate requirements, while laying the total lifecycle management foundation for which the S1000D Publishing Suite was designed. Inmedius' commitment to making their Publishing Suite a truly Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) product has been of great benefit in facilitating a smooth and cost-effective installation."

The Inmedius S1000D Publishing Suite is a comprehensive, fully integrated solution, satisfying continuous lifecycle management requirements for technical data. The robust, yet easy to use, six-module Suite addresses every facet of an S1000D implementation, to capture, create, manage and deploy technical information. Initially DS Techwrite will have six authors and three external clients as reviewers, and utilize the Suite’s S1000Dmanager™, S1000DauthorPro™, S1000Dreview™ and S1000Dtransition™ modules.
