Integran to Assist Lynntech in the Development of a Novel Non-Stick Composite Coating for the US Army

Toronto, ON - March 9, 2007 --[ASDWire]-- Integran Technologies Inc. (Toronto, Canada) announced today that it has been awarded a sub-contract by Lynntech, Inc. (College Station, TX) to assist in the further development and production scale-up of Lynntech’s novel quasicrystal-based coating technology, which is being developed to satisfy US Army requirements for durable, non-toxic, non-stick cookware. The coating will also be evaluated for other military and commercial uses such as molds, dies, engine parts and other low-friction, high wear and corrosion resistant applications. Integran will apply its expertise in the development of cost-effective electrodeposition technologies for producing advanced materials and composites, to assist Lynntech in their unique composite coating technology.

The parties have not released the financial details of the research & development contract.
