Embraer Selects Component Control as MRO-ERP System Supplier

All Embraer MRO service centers will use the new software

São José dos Campos, June 21, 2007 --[ASDWire]-- Embraer has selected Component Control’s Quantum ControlTM Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software, by the U.S.’s Component Control, as its global maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) management solution.

Component Control will begin implementing the Quantum ControlTM software at Embraer
Aircraft Maintenance Services (EAMS), in Nashville, Tenn., in July 2007. Embraer Aviation International (EAI), in Le Bourget, France, and the Embraer Service Center, in Gavião Peixoto, Brazil, will follow in the first half of 2008. Other Embraer service centers are scheduled to implement the tool in 2008, as well.

Quantum ControlTM combines aircraft services, distribution and rotable management of spare parts, hangar and contact controls, accounting, e-commerce, and other business functions in one dynamic updatable software suite. “It provides the perfect scaleable infrastructure technology to support Embraer’s growing MRO business in North America,” said Mark Hale, EAMS Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer.
