Component Control Announces FedEx Integration For Quantum Control Software Suite

SAN DIEGO, Calif., November 01, 2007 --[ASDWire]-- Component Control’s aviation integrated Business Software Solution, Quantum Control, now includes an integrated FedEx shipping service that will reduce clerical requirements and virtually eliminates shipping related errors for Quantum Control customers around the world.

The upgraded Shipping Manager module includes a web service that connects directly to Federal Express servers on the Internet. Quantum Control users can now obtain FedEx rate quotes, create requests for shipment, print FedEx labels, invoice the cost of freight to a customer, and cancel shipments from within the Quantum application.

“No longer will Quantum Control users need to have a separate web browser open to obtain their shipping information,” said Component Control Vice President of Technology Guy Richey. “The integrated shipping service reduces clerical time and errors since information such as shipping rates and tracking numbers are automatically updated in Quantum and do not need to be re-keyed.”

Quantum Control combines aircraft services, hangar management, shop floor control, inventory management, accounting, e-commerce, sales and invoicing, and other business functions in one dynamically-updatable software suite.
