"Low-Cost Time-Triggered Fieldbuses and Architectures:
Subsystem Integration for Modern Aircraft"
6th March 2008, 9.00-12.00h, Amsterdam, Avionics 2008 (www.avionics-event.com)
=====================================================
In new aircraft programs which integrate large number of subsystem networks, time-triggered fieldbuses can be a key technology to support shorter time-to-market.
Time-triggered fieldbuses, such as TTP and FlexRay communication protocol, have the potential to solve many systems integration and concurrent engineering issues in the aerospace industry. They can significantly impact the design of modern avionics and control systems, help to reduce system complexity, weight and costs.
TTTech’s low-cost time-triggered protocol TTP is the first high-speed time-triggered fieldbus selected for commercial and military aircraft such as Boeing 787, Airbus A380 and Lockheed Martin F-16.
Databus features determine how different units interact with each other, thus directly influencing the system architecture and the complexity, scalability and interoperability of interconnected functions and systems.
Answers to those questions will be provided in TTTech's masterclass (www.tttech.com)
Q - Basic Principles: How does time-triggered technology work?
Q - How does time-triggered technology supports reduction of system (SW/HW) complexity?
Q - How does deterministic networking technology influence aircraft system lifecycle costs and weight?
Q - Why is it easier to integrate sytems with time-triggered technology?
Q - How can expansion packs and updates be implemented without influencing other critical functions?
Q - How does Distributed IMA relate to TTP? How is a SW/HW platform architecture defined around TTP?
I hope to see you in Amsterdam.
Best regards
