Barco avionics displays reach landmark of eighty reference platforms
“The advanced Barco DU-875 displays will help provide Falcon 900 operators with increased situational awareness, efficiency and safety,” said Yves Vanhauwaert, General Manager Avionics at Barco. “In addition, they will bring extensive growth capabilities for future avionics functionalities.”
Integrating Barco’s proven avionics building blocks, the Honeywell DU-875 displays will offer pilots the same performance and flexibility as the most sophisticated cockpits in operation today. The retrofit displays will deliver extensive functionality, including advanced charts, maps and graphics. Moreover, the DU-875 will accommodate options such as XM graphical weather, Jeppesen charts and maps, and video. The unit complies with the DO-178B and DO-254 level A design guidelines.
