European Parts Distributor CASCO Selects Quantum for Inventory Control

SAN DIEGO, Calif., March 5, 2009 --[ASDWire]-- United Kingdom-based Commercial Aerospace Services Company (CASCO) recently selected Component Control’s Quantum Control aviation enterprise resource planning (ERP) software to maintain its parts control inventory of more than a quarter million line items stored at its West Sussex, England, warehouse and at various airline maintenance depots around the world.

“CASCO maintains an extensive inventory of aerospace parts to support our Flying Hour Contracts, Surplus Inventory Management and Repair and Overhaul Management services,” said Barrie Roberts, CASCO CEO. “Quantum Control’s Inventory Control module will allow us to more easily expand these facets of our business while maintaining a high level of service for our customers.”

Quantum Control combines aircraft maintenance, shop floor control, inventory management, accounting, e-commerce, sales and invoicing, and other business functions into an integrated cross-functional system. Roberts says that implementing Quantum Control will not only increase inventory visibility across CASCO’s multiple locations, but will also streamline the company’s sales and invoicing functions.
