Tangent Link Announce New Streamlined Defence Sensors Technology Conference & Exhibition

March 16, 2009 --[ASDWire]-- Tangent Link Ltd has announced the date of their new, innovative event Defence Sensors Technology. The event will be held at the prestigious Management Centre Europa (MCE) in Brussels, Belgium on 10/11 June 2009.

The venue is at the heart of NATO HQ, and the conference will provide a platform for discussions on sensor exploitation and intelligence production for among established and new NATO member countries. There will also be opportunities for collaboration with the world’s leading defence companies, defence associations and agencies.

The two-day conference will encompass three key elements of military sensors for air, land and sea operations including:

- Electro-Optical Systems
- Radar Systems
- Electronic Warfare Systems

This innovation, of streamlining three aligned conference topics into a two-day event, will allow these disciplines, frequently used together in the field of information warfare, to be explored by some of the foremost technology experts on the subjects.

The team of renowned speakers will be chaired by Rear Admiral Terry Loughlan, RN retd, and Christian Bréant, Director of Research & Technology, EDA - European Defence Agency. The conference programme, which has been driven by input from the European Defence Agency, will address the latest emerging technologies and country requirements from the European defence sector.
