Ultra Electronics-TCS awarded a CDN $10 M contract by Huneed Technologies

[ASDWire]-- Ultra Electronics - Tactical Communication Systems has been awarded a contract valued at CDN $10 M by its Korean strategic partner company, Huneed Technologies, for tactical military radios for the Republic of Korea. (Montreal, March 13, 2009) Ultra Electronics -Tactical Communication Systems Division (Ultra TCS) is pleased to announce that it has concluded a contract valued at almost CDN $10 million for its frequency hopping line of sight AN/GRC-512(V) military tactical radio with Huneed Technologies, its manufacturing licensee in the Republic of Korea.

Ultra TCS has enjoyed a strong cooperative relationship with Huneed for many years, and to date has been awarded contracts related to the sale of the AN/GRC-512(V) radio for the Korean military market in excess of CDN $ 150 million.
