Qinetiq North America to Support Marine Corps' Autonomic Logistics Systems Program
Awarded to the company’s Systems Engineering Group under the Commercial Enterprise Omnibus Support Services (CEOss) Engineering and Scientific domain, the contract has a one-year base period of performance, two one-year options, and a ceiling value of $17.4 million.
The Autonomic Logistics family of systems will enable Marine Corps ground tactical equipment, such as Mine-Resistant Ambush Protected (MRAP) vehicles, to autonomically monitor and report health and logistics needs to key decision makers from fox hole to rolling stock to flag pole. The system will provide an operational asset monitoring and reporting capability, supporting the U.S. Department of Defense’s Sense and Respond initiative. The Autonomic Logistics family of systems will provide commanders with critical asset information to maximize warfighters’ support and replenishment activity.
As the prime contractor, QinetiQ North America will provide engineering, programmatic, information assurance, test and evaluation, logistics, configuration management and financial support for Embedded Platform Logistics Systems; Electronic Maintenance Support System; and Autonomic Logistics program.
“To support the Autonomic Logistics family of systems effort, we have assembled an experienced and operationally relevant team that’s focused on providing the highest quality of technical and analytical support possible to the U.S. Marine Corps,” said Nylda Conde, Sr. Vice President, Engineering and Technical Services Division, QinetiQ North America.
