Qinetiq North America Wins Test Support Contract for USMC Expeditionary Fighting Vehicle

QUANTICO, Va., July 1, 2009 --[ASDWire]-- The Marine Corps Systems Command’s Acquisition Center for Support Services (ACSS) awarded QinetiQ North America a prime contract to provide Command, Control, Communications and Intelligence (C3I) test support services to the Expeditionary Fighting Vehicle (EFV), the Marine’s next generation of amphibious assault vehicles.

Awarded to the company’s Systems Engineering Group under the Commercial Enterprise Omnibus Support Services (CEOss) Engineering and Scientific domain, the contract has a one-year base period of performance, two option years, and a total value of $3.7 million.

With the award, QinetiQ North America extends its history of providing provide C3I test planning, execution, data analysis, reporting and Net Ready Key Performance Parameter (NR-KPP) planning and program management to the USMC Program Manager Advanced Amphibious Assault (PM AAA). Previously, the company had provided test and evaluation, and post test analysis support to the EFV Command for the PM AAA since February 2005, on a subcontract with Defense Technology International.
