DART Helicopter Services Selects Quantum Control ERP Solution to Manage Manufacturing Operations

SAN DIEGO, Calif., August 18, 2009 --[ASDWire]-- International helicopter aftermarket parts manufacturer and marketer DART Helicopter Services has selected Component Control’s Quantum Control aviation enterprise resource planning (ERP) software to manage its manufacturing, sales and inventory functions at several of its subsidiary companies. DART subsidiary Apical Industries successfully went live with Quantum in January 2009, Geneva Aviation in July 2009, and DART Helicopter Services itself will go live in September.

“The primary driver in selecting Quantum Control was that it’s specifically designed for aviation companies,” said Steve Joseph, general manager of DART Helicopter Services. “All three companies were using different accounting software, one with no manufacturing support at all. Quantum will allow us to standardize our accounting, manufacturing and inventory system across all entities.”

Quantum Control combines manufacturing, shop floor control, inventory management, accounting, e-commerce, sales and invoicing, and other business functions into one integrated software suite.

Another DART subsidiary, Offshore Helicopter Support Services, is scheduled to go live with Quantum in January 2010.
