Rotorcraft Leasing Company to Go Paperless with Quantum Control Aviation ERP Software

SAN DIEGO, Calif., October 12, 2009 --[ASDWire]-- Rotorcraft Leasing Company (RLC), the largest privately-held FAA-certified provider of helicopter transportation services in the Gulf of Mexico, has begun a program to upgrade and expand its use of Component Control’s Quantum Control aviation enterprise resource planning (ERP) software. The Louisiana-based helicopter operator originally implemented Quantum Control in 2003 for its corporate headquarters, and now plans to migrate all 11 of its bases to Quantum by the end of 2010.

“This move will increase efficiency while providing a new level of compliancy,” said Joyce Cornett, RLC Business Process Manager. “Our goal is to institute a completely paperless process for parts orders, transfers and other inventory-related transactions across all of our bases.”

Quantum Control combines manufacturing, shop floor control, inventory management, accounting, e-commerce, sales and invoicing, and other business functions into one integrated software suite. As part of this upgrade, RLC is adding Event Management and Contact Management (CRM)modules to expand the functionality of its current Quantum Control system. The corporate headquarters upgrade is scheduled for mid-October. RLC’s Santa Maria, Calif., operation will serve as the first test base, with Quantum implementation scheduled for first quarter 2010.
