New Operations Director role at TMD Technologies

Hayes, Middlesex, United Kingdom – March 15, 2010 - ASDWire - TMD Technologies’ Operations Manager David Pike has been promoted to the newly created position of Operations Director. The board level appointment reflects TMD’s strong performance and growth in recent years, with large production contracts and numerous new product developments. It follows the strengthening of the company infrastructure by the recent appointments of new managers for both its Tubes and Equipment Divisions.

David Pike takes on responsibility for all operational activity within the company, ranging from manufacturing and test to engineering, programme management, procurement, logistics, planning and strategic development.

“I am looking forward to my new role, where I will be able to step back from much of the day-to-day detail and concentrate on the bigger picture,” said David Pike. “The key issue will be maintaining and building on TMD’s reputation for innovation, quality, reliability and customer service”.

TMD is a leading designer and manufacturer of specialised transmitters for radar and electronic warfare applications, high voltage power supplies and microwave tubes. The multiple Queen’s Award winning company also produces a range of advanced commercial microwave amplifiers for EMC testing and scientific applications.
