TMD Technologies to feature advanced microwave electronics at Polish defence show

24 August 2010 --[ASDWire]-- TMD Technologies will be highlighting its microwave power modules (MPMs), transmitters, power supplies and TWTs at the MSPO International Defence Industry Exhibition in Poland in September 2010.

From its rugged amplifier range, the UK company will focus on pulsed and CW microwave power modules for radar, EW and communications. These MPMs have the advantages of being ultra compact and lightweight as well as offering high efficiency and reliability. They are also fully integrated, making installation safe and simple.

Also featured will be TMD’s fast warm travelling wave tubes (TWTs), which are ideal for seekers as well as conventional radars. Their high thermal efficiency design enables their cathodes to heat up to very high temperatures within a few seconds.

In the surveillance radar field, TMD will be highlighting its innovative PTX7602 S-band transmitter. This complete S band transmitter is suitable for commercial or military air traffic control and air defence radars and has the advantage of offering enhanced features and user benefits.

Exhibiting at MSPO for the first time, TMD Technologies can be found on Stand F-14. The 18th annual exhibition takes place in Kielce, Poland, from 6-9 September 2010.

Located at the heart of Europe, Poland is the largest of the new EU member states, with a population of 38 million, and is an excellent springboard for UK companies planning expansion to other Central & Eastern European countries, as well as emerging markets further East.
