Epps Aviation approaching 50th Anniversary Celebration

Component Control announced today that long-standing customer Epps Aviation, the only independent full service, fixed-base operator (FBO) at DeKalb-Peachtree Airport (PDK) in Atlanta, is approaching their celebration of 50 years of successful service to the aviation community. As an FAA repair station for both turbine and piston aircraft, Epps Aviation leverages Component Control’s Quantum ControlTM MRO and Logistics software to fully manage its extensive maintenance services and corresponding accounting requirements. A testament to the company’s superior service reputation, Epps Aviation is still owned and managed by Pat Epps, the original founder and current President.

“Quantum has been our operations platform for maintenance services since 2007 bringing with it great improvement in all of our shop functions from parts ordering to how the mechanics worked on the floor,” said Marian Epps, Chief Financial Officer of Epps Aviation. “Workflow is more efficient and the best part is that with everything we do, we still haven’t outgrown the system, it continues to grow with us.” Epps Aviation is an authorized Service Center for Pilatus, Cessna, Cirrus, Mooney, Piper, Michelin, Dallas Airmotive, and Lycoming, and staffs a Designated Airworthiness Representative (DAR) to ensure efficiency and adherence to regulatory demands.

“We congratulate Epps Aviation on their impressive achievement and wish the same success to all of our customers,” said Todd Lewis, President of Component Control. “Aviation services is a complex and highly regulated business and as companies not only grow, but endure time and industry changes, Quantum has been proven as a time-tested platform for managing diverse maintenance operations with ease and efficiency.”
