Fokker Partners With Air Baltic for Introduction of TCAS 7.1 in Their Boeing 737 and Bombardier Q400 Fleet

Fokker Services, part of Fokker Technologies, announces that it has received the order from Air Baltic, Latvia for the introduction of TCAS 7.1 modification on their B737 and Q400 fleet.

The development of version 7.1 of the Traffic Collision Avoidance System (TCAS) was initiated by EUROCONTROL and will bring improvements to the reversal logic by detecting situations in which, despite the Resolution Advisories, the aircraft continue to converge vertically.

The deadline for TCAS 7.1 upgrade for the applicable aircraft is 1 December 2015.
