Sentient at AUVSI 2015, featuring Kestrel Maritime ViDAR and Kestrel Land MTI automated detection software solutions

Sentient Vision Systems will showcase their latest Kestrel automated detection solutions for EO/IR full motion video at AUVSI in Atlanta, Georgia, May 5-7.

Kestrel Maritime ViDAR, is a real-time software solution that uses ultra-high resolution sensors, combined with advanced algorithms, to automatically detect all object types, over a wide field of view while providing alerts in real time to operators. Kestrel Maritime ViDAR enables 20 to 80 times greater maritime search coverage than existing airborne EO/IR sensor operations. It is a game changer for both manned and unmanned Maritime Surveillance and Patrol operations.

Kestrel Land MTI is deployed operationally on a wide range of UAV and manned aircraft platforms world-wide. The software automatically detects small moving objects in real-time within EO/IR sensor feeds, specializing in detecting objects that are difficult for the operator to see, such as vehicles and people moving in challenging environments. With Kestrel, operators are able to use wide field of view settings to cover larger search areas with a higher probability of detection. Kestrel is also available in variants optimized for Law Enforcement and Maritime operations.
