CRS Jet Spares selects Quantum Control MRO and Logistics Software

Component Control announced today that CRS Jet Spares, a global aftermarket spares provider specializing in overhauled parts for business jets, has selected Quantum Control MRO and Logistics software to manage its $60 million inventory and spares distribution operations across multiple facilities.

“For the past five years, we had been researching software companies to enhance our Inventory control and analytics,” said Armando Leighton, founder and CEO of CRS Jet Spares. “Quantum rose to the top for us when we learned how it aligns with our future growth and sales culture. It also offers additional modules to its base package, allowing our facilities to utilize what is most efficient for each of their operations and procedures.”

Based in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, CRS Jet Spares operates facilities in Houston, Texas, Chicago, Illinois and Los Angeles, California, as well as Singapore, United Kingdom, and Brazil. CRS Jet Spares expects to complete roll out of the software to its various locations by April 2016. The company’s subsidiary, Thrust-Tech Aviation, a Part 145 FAA and EASA-certified Repair Station in Fort Lauderdale, is also scheduled to begin utilizing Quantum Control in April 2016.

“We plan to use Quantum primarily to track our exchange transactions and tightly manage the history of serialized parts as well as all other aspects of our business,” said Leighton. “Our management expects great efficiency and the ability to utilize many tools for accurate and meaningful reporting. Quantum will help keep our entire team on the same page with real-time information on parts entering the system, tracking our exchanges, repairs, and new OEM distribution parts that have been on order for ‘just in time’ inventory.”

For ultimate efficiency and flexibility, CRS Jet Spares will be installing Quantum in the cloud.

“Being a 24/7 operation requires data access both locally and remotely to our inventory while servicing our AOG customers across the globe. Cloud services enhances our ability to better support customer needs and reduce the added costs of a complete server, maintenance and updates,” said Leighton.
