Wipaire improves processes with Quantum Control MRO and Logistics Software

Component Control announced today that Wipaire, the world’s leading manufacturer of aircraft floats as well as an aircraft repair and modifications center, utilized Quantum Control MRO and Logistics software to better track and manage time, materials and financials, leading to improved processes and procedures.

“We use Quantum at both of our services facilities. Reporting and research options have led to development of better processes, and checks and balances within the company,” said Jim Dolphy, assistant director of maintenance and maintenance scheduler for Wipaire.

Wipaire began using Quantum Control in November 2014 at its headquarters in South Saint Paul, Minnesota as well as its service center in Leesburg, Florida. Over the last year, Wipaire has grown its user base to 75 users, up from 55. Quantum serves as the company’s operating system for financial, inventory and service functions.
